In September 2005, NIHCM Foundation received a 3-year grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Division of Partnerships and Strategic Alliances (formerly Division of Private and Public Partnerships).  The title of the project is “Unrealized Opportunities for Clinical Preventive Practices.” NIHCM Foundation has worked with CDC since 1999 through two consecutive cooperative agreements; the first entitled “Promoting Prevention in Managed Care.”  Through both projects, NIHCM Foundation has worked to provide information and foster communication between the public and private sectors to improve success in health prevention initiatives.
