The Foundation is taking an active role in stopping illness before it starts under a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). NIHCM Foundation works with a host of partners to increase the number of adults receiving flu and pneumoccocal immunizations nationwide, as well as sponsors conferences and commissions research on preventive care.
