James C. Capretta, MA

Mr. Capretta served in senior positions in the federal government for nearly two decades. He was Associate Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget from 2001 to 2004, and he worked as a senior analyst for health care and social security issues in Congress. Previously, he was a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center. He is a well-known analyst and contributor to national news programs and publications. Mr. Capretta holds an MA in public policy studies from Duke University and a BA in government from the University of Notre Dame.
