James C. Robinson, PhD

Leonard D. Schaeffer Professor of Health Economics and Director of the Berkeley Center for Health Technology, University of California, Berkeley

Dr. Robinson is an expert on health care economics and policy and a professor at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to his teaching position, Robinson served as the editor-in-chief of Health Affairs. He has published three books and has contributed over 100 papers to scientific and policy journals around the country. Dr. Robinson earned a BA in economics and philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz and both his MPH in health planning and policy and PhD in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
