Robert P. Kocher, MD

Dr. Kocher is a healthcare information technology expert and a consulting professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Kocher previously served in the Obama Administration as the Special Assistant to the President for Healthcare and Economic Policy. Prior to his time at the White House, Dr. Kocher was a partner at McKinsey & Company and led the McKinsey Global Institute’s Center for United States Health System Reform. He earned undergraduate degrees from the University of Washington and an MD from George Washington University.
