Summary of the Project:
This study will systematically characterize whether and how state Medicaid programs finance the delivery of mental health promotion, screening and treatment services in schools, illuminate coverage gaps and identify barriers and facilitators to delivery of school-based mental health services. Findings will inform recommendations for Medicaid policy changes to reduce barriers and leverage opportunities to improve mental health services and supports in schools.
