Summary of the Project:

Health care professionals have long experienced high levels of stress and burnout, and COVID-19 has only exacerbated the problem. The film DO NO HARM, a groundbreaking film exposing the hidden epidemic of suicide and burnout among physicians has had tremendous impact in the medical community and beyond through powerful film screenings and panel discussions at medical schools, hospitals, conferences and theaters across the country. The film events serve to open a dialogue about the challenges within our health care system as well as solutions for transforming the culture of medicine.

About the Grantee:

Robyn Symon, an award-winning filmmaker and former TV news reporter and Senior Producer at PBS, heads Symon Productions.
