The MindSite News Solutions Lab produces solutions-focused stories on new ways to better address the mental health needs of underserved communities.
About the Grantee:
MindSite News was conceived and launched during the pandemic to bring in-depth reporting and compelling stories about mental health to a public and policymakers increasingly eager to access them. As a nonprofit news site dedicated exclusively to mental health reporting, MindSite News uses a combination of investigative reporting and solutions-focused stories seeks to create and sustain a sense of national urgency about the workings and failings of the U.S. mental health system and to impact that system through reporting, making it more equitable, effective, transparent and humane.
