Summary of the Project:

Using private insurer claims data from FAIR Health and other sources, this study will document pandemic-related changes in care patterns for chronic care patients and investigate the role of patient, provider and state policy factors in driving care trends. Findings have the potential to inform efforts to reduce the detrimental impact of the pandemic on chronic care, including strategies for patient outreach, clinician and practice support, alternative payment models, and telehealth policy.
