Summary of the Project:
This study will use interviews with a diverse range of key informants and analysis of Medicaid data from Virginia to investigate whether the expanded client and provider access to telehealth allowed during the COVID-19 public health emergency improved health equity. The findings are expected to inform deliberations of federal and state policymakers as they consider whether and how to extend the more liberal telehealth policies and to identify remaining policy gaps.
