A NIHCM Foundation Journalism Grant supported a journalist in the 2015 class of the Health Coverage Fellowship, a program of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation. The Fellowship is designed to help newspaper, radio, television and online reporters and editors improve their reporting on critical health care issues–from implementing health care reform to curbing costs, addressing mental illness and redressing public health threats.

About the Grantee:

The Health Coverage Fellowship is housed at Babson College’s Center for Executive Education in Wellesley and is sponsored by the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation in collaboration with other charities. The fellowship is directed by Larry Tye, a former Nieman fellow who covered health and the environment for 15 years at the Boston Globe and has written six books.
