Summary of the Project:
This fellowship consists of nine days of intensive, residential training followed by a year of mentoring to cover the costs of one journalist from a national outlet to participate in the 2022 program. The purpose of the Health Coverage Fellowship is to deepen the media's understanding and reporting of the intricate and dynamic world of health care.
About the Grantee:
The Health Coverage Fellowship is housed at Babson College’s Center for Executive Education in Wellesley and is sponsored by the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation in collaboration with other foundations. The fellowship is directed by Larry Tye, a former Nieman fellow who covered health and the environment for 15 years at the Boston Globe and has written eight books.
