A NIHCM Foundation Journalism Grant is supporting the national public engagement campaign for The Raising of America documentary series. The Raising of America is the first national, fully integrated media-public engagement project that aims to reframe the way Americans look at early child health and development.
About the Grantee:
California Newsreel produces and distributes cutting edge social justice films that inspire, educate and engage audiences. Founded in 1968, Newsreel is the oldest non-profit, social issue documentary film center in the country, the first to marry media production and contemporary social movements.
