Finalists Named in the 25th Annual NIHCM Research and Journalism Awards

Congratulations to the finalists for the 25th Annual NIHCM Foundation Research and Journalism Awards!

You can find the full list of finalists with links to their work on a remarkable range of topics—from preventable medical errors and neglect that led to tragic deaths, to pressing public health challenges related to climate change and pollution, to expert analysis of health care costs, market consolidation and drug pricing, and more.

"As we celebrate the 25th year of these awards, we remain committed to recognizing the immense contributions of journalists and researchers in advancing health care and public health," said NIHCM CEO Nancy Chockley.

These 41 finalists were selected by our independent judges from over 400 total entries. The winning entry in each category will be announced in late April and will receive a $15,000 to $20,000 cash prize.
