NIHCM Leadership Transition

The National Institute for Health Care Management (NIHCM) Foundation announces that Avik Roy has stepped down as President and CEO of the NIHCM Foundation and NIHCM LLC, effective August 1. We are grateful for Avik’s leadership and contributions, including strengthening NIHCM’s focus on health care management and affordability, and launching the Local Media Award as part of our Journalism Awards program. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

The NIHCM Board of Directors will launch a thoughtful and thorough search for a permanent CEO in the coming weeks. During this transition, Cait Ellis will serve as Interim CEO and provide steady leadership as we continue our work to improve health care through research, education, and innovation.
