New research from The Trevor Project investigates the role that online spaces can play in supporting or harming the mental health and well-being of LGBTQ young people - particularly those of color. This survey adds to growing evidence and discussion around the potential benefits and harms associated with social media.
NIHCM’s new infographic, created in partnership with The Trevor Project, explores the impact of online spaces on the mental health of LGBTQ young people and delves into which specific online platforms are currently seen as safe and supportive by LGBTQ young people of color.
The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people.
