Lifelong Health Disparities in LGBTQ+ Communities

About the Data Insights

This infographic highlights how LGBTQ+ individuals face health disparities linked to stigma and discrimination. Rates of mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and suicide are higher among LGBTQ populations.

These disparities are exacerbated when people are unable to access care or are uncomfortable asking providers for the treatment they need. We hosted a webinar to explore how leaders are working to address these inequities.
