Summary of the Project:
This study will investigate what type of incentive is needed to motivate and provide sufficient financial remuneration to primary care clinics participating in the Minnesota State Employee Group Insurance Program (SEGIP) so that they undertake investments with the potential to lead to more efficient styles of practice. Findings will inform SEGIP design improvements and be useful to other state employee insurance programs and large employers interested in using a similar approach.
