Summary of the Project:
This study will document private-payer pricing variation for 113 infused drugs delivered both in hospital outpatient departments and independent physician offices, identify factors significantly associated with the pricing variation, and estimate the potential savings if insurers use coinsurance, narrow networks, or reference pricing to shift drug infusion services from hospital outpatient departments to physician offices.
