Robert Reischauer, PhD

Dr. Reischauer led the Urban Institute for 12 years. Previously, he served as the director of the Congressional Budget Office and was a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. He is an expert in the federal budget, health policy, and Social Security and is a former public trustee of the Social Security and Medicare trust funds. Dr. Reischauer earned an AB from Harvard University an MA in international affairs and a PhD in economics from Columbia University.
